Sealed proposals will be received by University of North Alabama, Facilities Training Room, 1660 Tune Avenue, Florence, Alabama 35632, until 2:00 PM. local time, Thursday, July 18th, 2024, for Residence Hall at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
The project will consist of a new 7-story student residence building.
It will house an ICC-500 rated storm shelter on the first floor.
The basement and first floor is framed with reinforced concrete.
The upper five floors are framed with panelized load bearing studs.
The Owner intends to award a single contract for this work to a single pre-qualified General Contractor
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the offices of UNA Department of Facilities Administration and Planning, Facilities Training Room, 1660 Tune Avenue, Florence, Alabama 35632 at 10:00 AM local time, Thursday, June 13th, 2024. Attendance at Pre-Bid Conference by General Contractor Bidders is Mandatory.
