Sealed BIDS for the East Harbor Launch Ramp will be received by the Huntsville-Madison County Marina & Port Authority until 2:00 p.m. Monday, the 14th day of October 2024, at the office of the engineer: Schoel, 101 Washington Street SE, Huntsville, AL 35801. Bids will be opened at 2:01 p.m. on the 14th day of October 2024, at Schoel, 101 Washington Street SE, Huntsville, AL 35801.

The project will consist the complete renovation of the existing competition gym
Construction of a new 85’ long by 20’ wide concrete boat ramp with associated grading and drainage, erosion and sediment control, audio system, bleachers, lighting, and painting.
Repair and replacement of asphalt as need to transition from existing pavement to the new boat ramp
Stripe boat lane and parking spaces with installation of wheel stops and required ADA signs and marking, construction of concrete gangway connection structure
Finished grading with landscaping of disturbed areas to match original condition or better
An additive alternate is included to mill and overlay existing asphalt pavement in the upper portion of the existing parking lot and boat lane areas.
